Everyone has their own goals to reach, while others just want to live their life's through the accomplishments of others; howbeit the best experience is when a person makes their own ...

It's like when you bake a cake, get your hands sticky and dip you finger in the mix; but the person that walks into the bakery store won't feel the same satisfaction as you because they just pointed to it out, paid for it and didn't go through any the homemade steps ... 

As a Mom of 4 cake eating sons, I see the appreciation in their eyes while I'm beating the cake mix and adding all those tasty ingredients. Its just like a motion picture and the entire house stands still . That's why I Love to jump into things and embrace my own experiences ... How about you?

Called 2 Serve

We're so grateful that life isn't perpetually easy or always pleasant,  because as Vessels of Jesus Christ it's our responsibility to continue praying so that our relationship with him keeps on blossoming ... Educating society regarding the misconceptions of social issues is also our mission ... On account of, if we don't help take off the blindfolds of those in and out of the Church walls, then we're not imitators of our Heavenly Father ... 

 

In conclusion, nourishing minds with more heartfelt recipes to reach those who haven't accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior is key ...

In Every Household

Prayer and studying the word serves as double duty and double blessing in every Christian household ... For these are two essential factors that gives life to the Holy Spirit and subdues the flesh without making a mess ... LOL,

The Lord feels the need to remind you, us and the rest of the Body of Jesus Christ that when the devil comes around you with meaningless tricks ... Stand proud and say this out loud ...

John 10:10 ~  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

SiLLy Saturday,

On this day, our family serves up some good down home fun ... My GEM cooks a tasty Dominican  meal, our 4 playful sons clean up their rooms(please stop laughing everyone) and I choose the movie(no chick flicks)HaHaHa ... Before we retire for the evening the entire family sits around the kitchen table so that we can all study the word, PRAY for each other, share our feelings, hug, kiss and finally say good-night, just like the actors on the TV show called The Walton's. LOL ... Those are what we call Good Times ... Perhaps for some of you our life sounds like a sit-com ... HeHeHe and maybe your right ... All we know to be true is that Jesus Christ is the Light that guides our paths, we love each other to the bone and are having a ball during all of this ...

One more thing, thank you Lord for such a wonderful gift ...

Psalm 127:3 Be hold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.

Old School Style

Since our blender was no longer functioning, our youngest son Elias helped me bake a cake Old School style ... During this time my GEM and our 3 other silly sons just stood by laughing the time away ... LOL,. Oh yes, before I forget, it was the best cake we ever baked ... You see, Old School activities are sometimes more family fun than all this high tech stuff; because everyone gets their hands a little dirty but the end results are always sweet ...

Sometimes parents share with us that their teens don't seem to want to listen or discuss important stuff with them ... Now our reply to that statement is this "Have an Old School Style bake-a-thon" and you'll see how the walls come down ... With this we're going to say bye-bye, I asked our youngest son Elias why did he want to help me in the kitchen and he responded with this ...

Exodus 20:12 ~ Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.
