SiLLy Saturday,

On this day, our family serves up some good down home fun ... My GEM cooks a tasty Dominican  meal, our 4 playful sons clean up their rooms(please stop laughing everyone) and I choose the movie(no chick flicks)HaHaHa ... Before we retire for the evening the entire family sits around the kitchen table so that we can all study the word, PRAY for each other, share our feelings, hug, kiss and finally say good-night, just like the actors on the TV show called The Walton's. LOL ... Those are what we call Good Times ... Perhaps for some of you our life sounds like a sit-com ... HeHeHe and maybe your right ... All we know to be true is that Jesus Christ is the Light that guides our paths, we love each other to the bone and are having a ball during all of this ...

One more thing, thank you Lord for such a wonderful gift ...

Psalm 127:3 Be hold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.

Old School Style

Since our blender was no longer functioning, our youngest son Elias helped me bake a cake Old School style ... During this time my GEM and our 3 other silly sons just stood by laughing the time away ... LOL,. Oh yes, before I forget, it was the best cake we ever baked ... You see, Old School activities are sometimes more family fun than all this high tech stuff; because everyone gets their hands a little dirty but the end results are always sweet ...

Sometimes parents share with us that their teens don't seem to want to listen or discuss important stuff with them ... Now our reply to that statement is this "Have an Old School Style bake-a-thon" and you'll see how the walls come down ... With this we're going to say bye-bye, I asked our youngest son Elias why did he want to help me in the kitchen and he responded with this ...

Exodus 20:12 ~ Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.

"Don't be Perplexd"

Plenty of people have discussed with us that they dislike the manner in which we bring awareness to certain issues ...  However what we say is based upon the Biblical knowledge that we've acquired through the years(Psalms 115:105)  and we won't stop because the LORD has Blessed us with a spirit of courage and not of fear(2 Timothy 1:7) ... Furthermore, we've always favored telling the truth(Ephesians 4:15) and that's why we've made this quote ours for life ... If a person isn't part of the solution, then they're probably in favor of the problem  ... 

That being said, Pastors, Preachers, Evangelists, Missionaries and Teachers don't be perplexed by what people say or that the so called Cool group turns away ... Just focus on the Lord's Biblical truth and let it come out of  your mouth with honesty ... Then after all has been said and done and you go to bed at night, you'll know that what you said Glorified God all the way ...

Deuteronomy 31:6 ~ Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

Our Future Leaders,

These are the young men & women that go to school, rest at night & try to leave a positive mark on society ... By cutting down on childish pranks, seeking constructive advice from people that they know are living a peaceful life. As our Future Leaders their constantly PRAYING to the LORD so that he can lead them through this journey we call life ...  For they don't wish to be seen as criminals or irresponsible individuals; but young people that are asking GOD to help them find their way. Once again, we're honored to say these are Our Future Leaders ... 

Young people that are doing this ...

1 Timothy 4:12 ~ Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

GOD's Ring Tone,

Without a doubt, our family is so GRATEFUL to the Big Man in the sky; because when everyone turned their heads, ignored our cries and wished that we'd all lose our minds. That's when we received the best Heavenly gift ever. We finally: felt, saw and understood the reason for everything that was going on in our life's. Did you know that sometimes you have to truly be alone, in order to clearly hear GOD's Ring Tone?

This is the LORD's confirmation ...

Romans 10:17 ~ So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

True Leadership Is ...

A true leader isn't defined by how much money they carry in their pockets, the time it takes them to win a debate, how many people mention their names during a parade or campaign ... In our opinion, leadership is based upon how the individual conducts themselves during the toughest moments in their life's, the lessons they obtain along the way and how they treat those around them during such a stressful journey ...  


Ponder this when you have a minute ...

We're NO Longer ...

We're GRATEFUL that we're no longer alone to deal with the issues that attempt to turn our life's upside down and keep us in a state of worry or despair. For we used to seek the help and guidance of family or friends that really didn't comprehend our ongoing pain. Nonetheless we don't have to fret or go to bed upset, because we're walking Hand and Hand with an AWESOME kind of Guy, that loves us more than we love ourselves. The word of the LORD is clear, thus ponder this when you have a minute ...  

Isaiah 41:10 ~ Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your GOD; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
